The problem
People who wanted a physical card still had to visit a store, a post office, and a stamp counter. A greeting-card product also had to support guests and members, recipient and return addresses, and a personal message without dropping the order.
A web store that cannot capture a handwritten-style message and a recipient address does not replace the post office. The app had to ship on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, with a privacy listing that data is not collected.
- No simple phone path to a physical card, postcard bundle, or art print
- Guest checkout and member accounts both needed address and message workflows
- Artist designs and print fulfillment were not one shopping job
- No guest and member path in the same catalog
- Return address and recipient delivery were easy to miss at checkout
- Fulfillment context for robot-handwritten messages was not in the order record
What we changed
We built CardCraft as a mobile card-sending platform. Users browse artist designs, personalize a message, and send a card or print directly to a recipient. Guest and member flows, return address capture, and print fulfillment (including robot-handwritten messages) sit in the same order.
- iPhone and iPad greeting cards, postcard bundles, and digital art prints
- Guest shopping and member sign-up
- Recipient delivery, return address, and personal message upload
- Artist catalog and direct-to-recipient fulfillment without a post office visit
The sender still chooses the design, writes the message, and confirms the address. Fulfillment prints and mails. A person still owns what goes in the envelope.

App Store reviewer, CardCraft
I've been an avid sender of cards and this app makes it simple. From hundreds of designs to the user friendly design, I'm hooked.
What this means for you
- A card app only helps if the physical mail still leaves without a store or stamp run
- Guest and member checkout both need address and message on the same order
- Artist catalogs and fulfillment belong in the order, not a side email
- App Store ratings are useful proof, but the job is still a card that arrives

What we chose to automate
Once catalog, message, and address share one order, later helpers can suggest a design or catch a missing address. The first job is a card that actually mails.
- Keep design, message, and addresses on one checkout
- Support guest and member without a second app
- Leave room for fulfillment status once the order is trusted
How the pieces fit together
The App Store listing covers iPhone and iPad. Orders carry design, message, addresses, and fulfillment instructions, including the robot handwritten-message path before mailing.
- Mobile commerce catalog and checkout
- Guest and member account paths
- Print fulfillment and order management
- App Store privacy metadata: data not collected
When a person still takes over
The sender still chooses the design, writes the message, and confirms the address. Fulfillment prints and mails. A person still owns what goes in the envelope.
- Checkout confirmation before a card is produced
- Recipient and return address captured on the order
- Guest or member can review the cart before pay
What it connects to
- Apple App Store
- Print fulfillment
- Order management
- Artist design catalog
Still sending cards through a store and a stamp counter?
If a physical card still needs a post office run, we can look at putting catalog, message, and fulfillment in a phone app, the way we did on CardCraft.
